MME Website & Rebrand
The Client
MME Mortgages is a specialist mortgage brokerage that helps homebuyers navigate the complexities of the property market. In a sector that is often seen as clinical and overwhelming, they required a brand identity and digital platform that felt approachable, transparent, and modern.
The Brief
The objective was to build a complete brand from the ground up. This included a new logo and visual identity, bespoke illustrations, and a high-performance responsive website. A central requirement was to humanise the mortgage process, making financial advice feel accessible to first-time buyers and experienced homeowners alike. Beyond the digital experience, I was also tasked with delivering a suite of stationery and social media templates to ensure brand consistency across all marketing channels.
The Solution
I approached the project by focusing on a 'human-centric' design language, intentionally differentiating MME Mortgages from traditional, corporate-style competitors.
Logo & Identity: I developed a clean, professional logo that balances authority with friendliness. The visual identity uses a refined colour palette and modern typography to establish immediate trust while remaining accessible to the end user.
Illustration: To avoid the use of generic financial stock imagery, I created a series of custom illustrations. These were designed to guide users through the 'mortgage journey', breaking down complex financial stages into digestible, visual narratives that explain the process clearly.
UI/UX & Responsive Web Design: The website was designed with a mobile-first approach, prioritising ease of use for clients on the move. I focused heavily on the UX of interactive elements, such as mortgage calculators and enquiry forms, ensuring that these technical tools were intuitive and friction-free to drive lead generation.
Visual Hierarchy: Using strong UI principles, I structured the site to lead with value-driven content. Key information is supported by client testimonials and clear calls to action (CTAs), ensuring that the path from information-gathering to enquiry is seamless.
Social & Stationery Rollout: To ensure a unified brand voice, I extended the identity to a full suite of physical and digital assets. This included stationery for client correspondence and a library of social media templates that allow the team to maintain a premium aesthetic across their digital marketing.
