The Client

Unity is a Leicester-based digital marketing agency specialising in SEO, PPC, and high-performance web design. Having built a reputation for scaling their clients' online presence through data-driven strategies, they required a new brand identity and digital home that reflected their own expertise and premium service offering.

The Brief

As the sole designer on the project, I was tasked with a complete overhaul of the Unity brand. The brief was wide-ranging, requiring a cohesive visual language that worked across both digital and physical mediums. Key requirements included a new responsive website, a redesign of internal job order systems to improve workflow efficiency, and a full suite of marketing assets—ranging from print brochures and stationery to social media templates and video presentations. A core challenge was to move away from generic imagery by integrating bespoke illustrations to help explain complex marketing concepts.

The Solution

I approached the project as a modern evolution of the brand, ensuring the new styling was applied consistently across all mediums.

Bespoke Web Development: Unlike standard template-based sites, I developed the website completely bespoke. This allowed SEO to be integrated from the ground up, with every feature custom-coded to prioritise speed, readability, and mobile responsiveness.

CRO-Led UX Design: Every interaction was designed to be intuitive and deliberate. I implemented a strong visual hierarchy and personalised calls to action (CTAs) to guide users through the site. A key feature was the multi-stage contact form, which breaks down the enquiry process into bite-sized questions to reduce friction and make the conversion path feel less intimidating.

Building Authority: To establish immediate trust, I integrated Unity’s accolades and client testimonials prominently into the UI. I balanced these technical trust signals with a series of bespoke illustrations, designed to humanise the brand and make technical services like SEO and PPC more approachable.

Internal System Design: Beyond the external site, I redesigned the agency’s internal job order forms. By applying UX principles to these internal tools, I streamlined the interface to reduce entry errors and improve the efficiency of project handovers between departments.

Brand Rollout: The identity was extended across a full range of marketing collateral, including high-quality print production for brochures and posters, as well as digital templates for social media and presentations to ensure a unified brand voice.

The Result

Conversion-Focused Tool: The final site is a high-performance lead generation tool that demonstrates the exact level of technical skill Unity brings to its own clients.

Operational Efficiency: The new brand ecosystem has successfully unified the agency’s digital and physical presence, while the redesigned internal systems have significantly streamlined day-to-day workflow.
